Day four of Me Made May 2020 isn’t a terribly glamorous outfit I’m afraid, but to make up for it it’s very comfortable.
My make today is Seamwork’s free York Top – the same pattern I used to create the bodice from day two’s dress, but the time the only change I made was to add a full bust adjustment (well, actually, a sewing friend Laura helped me draft the FBA). I used a cotton-linen blend (from Nerida Hansen, where else?) with a design by Jocelyn Proust. I’ve made a full half a dozen of these tops, and they’re so simple and versatile. You’re definitely going to see a few different incarnations of this top in the next month.
I was working from home today, and teamed my York top with slouchy joggers from Suzanne Grae that I probably should have bought in a size down (but are just the ticket for spending the day at home.)
