Cardigan: Vintage, from the Love Vintage Market
Skirt: Love To Love You
Tights: Sussan
Shoes: Milu
This adorable ruffle front skirt is one of the items in my wardrobe that definitely doesn’t get worn as often as it deserves to.
The bold cobalt blue makes it a difficult item to pair tops with, so I usually take the safe route and team it with black. I keep thinking that I should buy another in a more wardrobe-friendly hue. (Actually I’m just trying to rationalise asking Loni to make me this one in my size).
You can read my original review here.
I’m wearing it today with the cardigan that I bought at the Love Vintage Market earlier this month. It’s the most gorgeously flamboyant beaded confection, and it fits like a glove.
i probably wrote that before but i still love this skirt 😀
adorable piece of ruffles and the best blue shade for me.
bah! i should stop watching your website… mostly i’m just terribly jealous 😉
LOL, I’m glad you still love the skirt, M 🙂
Have you tried the skirt with a cream top? White would probably be too stark, but cream might work (maybe your DP top with the peter pan collar). Or what about a burgundy or claret coloured top? Just if you fancy a change from black with it! Love the cobalt blue, and the elaborate beading on the cardigan!
Perhaps the DP top with a claret cardigan? Oooh, yes! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
I would love to see this skirt with an oatmeal coloured top or a cream one maybe. The blue of that skirt just begs to be teamed with a light colour!
Love your beautiful blog. You inspire me to wear more of what I want to rather than just what I should 🙂
I tried it with a cream top with tiny blue polkadots a year or so ago… It was OK, but perhaps it was the wrong style :-\
I LOVE this skirt. Still!! Maybe as said above with a maroon/claret top?
Aha! An excuse to go shopping 🙂
That skirt is officially killing me.
