Lilli's "Following Dreams" set

So this is exciting! I’ve never used Polyvore before, but earlier this week I was invited to compose and submit an outfit for Modcloth’s “Uniquely You” Polyvore challenge.

The core item for the challenge was the “Following Dreams” sweater, which combines two of my favourite things: Polkadots AND stripes! In one convenient package!

I teamed it with the mustard “Bliss is the Life” skirt (because, MUSTARD!) and “Solid Choice” heels in navy.

The “Take a Dipper” necklace taps right into my passion for all things galactic (though admittedly I’ve gone off the idea of going into space since seeing Gravity), but it’s the “Pome Sweet Home” apple bag that OMG I’ve fallen really hard for!

How would you wear this sweater?

  1. I love all these items. The yellow of the skirt is so bright it would bring a lot of light in the grey German autum.:)
I fall in love with that apple back two years ago. I bought it in London at Carnaby Street. The shop is called Ollie &Nick, I think they ship worldwide. 🙂

    1. It’s gorgeous isn’t it? I’m pretty severely tempted, except I’m one of those every-thing-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of gals, and I don’t know if it’d be big enough. How did you find it? Practical?

      1. It’s not the most practical bag in the world… but the bag is definetely a highlight for every outfit, a typical eyecatcher, and I use it very often. BUT… there is only enough space for your mobile, a wallet and your keys. 🙂

        1. What came to my mind….. honestly I think it’s enough when the apple bag looks gorgous, beautiful and adorable. 🙂

  2. Love how you styled this! I got invited to participate, too, and I actually squealed when I saw the sweater. It’s so adorable that I’m fighting the urge to order it… ha! Well done, Modcloth. Well done, indeed.
