Woohoo!

Wanna hear some exciting news?

Me, your blogger, is going to be a runway model.

Yep, Lilli Hingee, the girl who can fall down in flats (if only I was exaggerating) will be strutting my stuff down the runway for Chitra Mangma at next week’s launch of her Spring/Summer collection.

Wanna hear some more exciting news? I have a free ticket to give away.

It’s for the show only, starting at 8PM on Friday the 22nd of October, and will come with a free pass to go and see the new movie “Gainsbourg“!

So, if you’re in Melbourne, and are interested in coming along to a French-Inspired Fashion show leave a comment below with the words “Chitra’s Closet” and telling me what you’re most looking forward to wearing this Spring and I’ll have Suki choose a comment randomly!

  1. A model?! Oh wow! That is amazing news!! Congratulations. Alas I live many many miles away from Melbourne otherwise I’d be begging for a ticket.

You’re life is almost like the SATC episode “the real me”…my favourite espisode of all time! Just don’t be kissing any random photographers – I’m not sure the Sophiscate would approve 😉

  2. Woooooooo! I would kill to come!

This spring I am most looking forward to dresses, dresses and more dresses! Bought a new one last week, two more on Tuesday and am heading off to do some more shopping tonight! Dresses are the new jeans this year.

  3. Chitra’s Closet!!
I am most looking forward to wearing 4 vintage neck scarves I found on Etsy. They are so beautiful!
Congratulations on being a runway model!! Can you keep the clothes?!! I am sure you will get to the end of the runway without falling down but if you do, don’t worry. At least you will look good!

  7. Oooh, silly me, Chitra’s Closet!!
I am most looking forward to wearing a Yukata in the beachside onsen in Japan this spring. Of course, there it will be Autumn, but no matter. Onsen are onsen.

  8. Chitra’s Closet!! I’m so looking forward to getting out of maternity clothes and into some gorgeous florals, floaty dresses, flirty skirts, light, feminine and fun!

  10. Spring? Melbourne has spring? Could have fooled me after today. I think I’ll be wearing winter clothes. I feel kind of ashamed for delurking purely and solely for the purpose of a Chitra’s Closet giveaway, but the fact is, I think meeting you would be rather awesome. As well as the fashion. And you modelling.

    So, without further ado….

pick me pick me pick me pick me pick me pick me pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase?

  11. Congrats Lilli, hope you post us some photos. I am dying to wear some peep toes shoes. Skirts and dresses are the natural companions, but for me they are just an excuse for the shoes. Roll on the warm weather.

  12. Congratulations Lilli, that is wonderful! And you deserve it, stylish maven that you are! 🙂 I of course am very far from Melbourne, so this is not an entry comment, but I just felt like I should say something!

And oh, I was catching up on your posts just now — you are coming to the States?! How exciting 🙂 I’m sure your schedule is jam-packed, but if you have time when you are in San Francisco I would be more than happy to show you some of the more exciting shopping locales or chat over a cup of coffee with you or something 😉 Let me know!
