A Special Visitor!

Cardigan: Sportscraft
Necklace: Klei
Bangle: Polka Luka

I had a Very Special Visitor over the weekend – My Mum!

She dropped in for a flying visit to make sure I was doing OK (which I am!) and also to reacquaint herself with her mad fur-grandkitty.

Even though she was only staying for two nights Mum arrived with an enormous suitcase. When she unzipped it she revealed that it was packed full of frocks and frou frou that date back fifteen years in your blogger’s history!

I haven’t the foggiest what I’m going to do with them, but of more pertinence was the fact that I’m a firm believer in leaving with your suitcase more full that how you arrived (otherwise you’re not doing it right, right?) so I coerced her into hitting the shops with me on Saturday.

My Mum’s not a big shopper, but she did magnificently well and not only scored three new pairs of pants (including black straight-leg jeans! Woo!) but two pairs of totally groovy sunglasses, a fab mustard-coloured cardi, and the pièce de résistance… RED SHOES!

Atta girl!

In other news, you may have noticed that there’s a Twitter badge on the top left hand corner of the Frocks & Frou Frou page now. Just click on it to go to my brand-new Twitter Page – I can’t promise it’ll all be fashion-related, but if you’re interested in my day to day life I’ll be posting there pretty regularly.
