I saw these fantastic neckerchiefs a few years ago at the Suzuki Night Markets and was instantly smitten. They’re such a fun way of adding a bit of glamour to your outfit and they can be worn in so many different ways.
Creator Kylie is an absolute doll – very friendly and easygoing. She has been inspired particularly by the fashions of the 40’s and 50’s and this is very much reflcted by her design aesthetic. She often sources vintage fabric and buckles to make her neckerchiefs.
If you’d like to try them on in person Melbourne locals can drop by Smith Street’s Lost and Found Market. She also sells internationally through her Etsy shop (in US dollars) and through her bigcartel shop (in Aussie dollars)
Neckerchief: The Girl Can’t Help It

Is it creepy if I get the exact same neckerchief? Because that is the most awesome pattern ever. Or will I just try it on, look in the mirror, sigh, and think, “Dammit, this looks better on Lilli. Waaaah!”
Oh yeah thanks, I just spent $37.50 and I am TRYING TO SAVE!
But this is awesome.

Plus how can you go past that title? “The Girl Red Boots”? (Red boots!!) Can’t wait to see it on you!
Fi, no-one knows better than I that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. You should definitely splurge (save the economy, man! K-Rudd wants you to buy it!) then call me next time you’re wearing it, and I’ll wear it too, and we can be TWINNIES! (heheh)
Oooh that’s like the scarf I bought at the end of the year http://www.felt.co.nz/browse/listing/1744/Neck-tie-with-buckle
.. I was going to keep it but recently gave it to a friend as a birthday present. I was about to order myself another, but think I might take a look at your site and buy local instead!!
I remember that one, Deborah-Lee! It’s what inspired me to track these down again
